Single Helix Cylindrical Designs
Union City Filament’s most fundamental filament and heater designs are single helix cylindrically configured coils. These designs are used by a very wide variety of industries including the vacuum electron device industry, analytical sensor industry, and semiconductor industry. These heaters and filaments consist of single wire coils wound on cylindrical mandrels for a specified number of turns at a specified pitch. Leg formations, coil diameters, and wire diameters can be modified to meet application requirements.
Material types functional in these configurations range all Union City Filament standard material types. Single helix cylindrically designed coils are available coated in one of our alumina coating blends.
